1. Squats with Band
How to: Place band an inch above your knee. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Bend at the knees and lower your hips into a squat position. Your thighs should be parallel to the floor, with your knees over your ankles. Pause for a brief second, and then return to the starting position.
Tip: Push off of your heels on the upward motion to really target your glutes.
2. Hip Thrusters with Band
How to: Place a loop band a few inches above your knees. Lie face up on the floor with your knees bent, feet planted on the floor. While keeping your feet on the floor, drive your hips up and pause at the top. Then return back to the starting position in a controlled motion.
Tip: Move in a slow, controlled motion and pause for 1-second at the top position. Do not let your knees buckle.
3. Glute Kickbacks with Band
How to: Stand upright and place the loop band around both of your ankles. With a slight bend in your knees, place your body weight on one foot while kicking back the other. Pause for a second, and then return the kicked back leg to the starting position. Switch legs to perform the exercise on both sides.
Tip: Move in a controlled motion & pause for one second at the top position
